Women's Superior Down Vest (Black)

Whether deployed on its own in Spring or under a bulkier jacket in a deep-winter layering system, the Superior Down Vest performs on any outdoor occasion. The outer shell is 10-denier Ballistic Airlight water-repellent nylon ripstop with a nice matte touch. For the insulation, we’ve used 800-fill power EX down, our most premium down, in Sewn Through baffles. This keeps insulation in place as well as lightening weight. And to ensure maximum longevity, the down has been proofed so it won’t escape out of the face fabric. It’s extremely compressible as well, meaning it won’t take up space in your pack when it’s not in use.

Technical note the Superior Down vest has a slightly slim fit to make it perfect for wearing as a mid-layer under something fully weather-proof. If you want a more relaxed fit you might want a size bigger than usual.
