A decidedly-retro looking jacket made with contemporary materials and technology, our Mont Blanc Jacket 50th is a perfect illustration of Montbell’s fifty year journey. Design-wise, it’s an exact recreation of one of Montbell’s first ever jackets, featuring wide baffles, a detachable hood, ribbed cuffs and billowed front patch pockets. For the insulation however, we’ve brought the Mont Blanc into the present day by opting for EXCELOFT synthetic insulation. Not only is EXCELOFT extremely lightweight for synthetic, it’s also hydrophobic, meaning it still works when wet. Not only that, the outer nylon taffeta has been treated with water-repellency, which will certainly do the job at protecting you from inclement weather.
